You may be interested to know that the two founders of Suffolk Bereavement Support have over 20 years experience each of face to face and group work in the voluntary sector and local government. This new service has been set up in response to many requests for support from individuals. We are keen to add to the variety of support and different approaches offered in this field. In order for us to continue offering this service ongoing financial support is necessary.
The service will be funded through charitable grants and voluntary donations. The organisation is set up as a not for profit charity and currently receives support from Suffolk Community Foundation’s Rural Fund and through the commitment of Suffolk County Councillor Gordon Jones. Community Action Suffolk has provided advice and support in setting up this charity and the creation of this website.
All funds received go towards the administration and running costs of the groups and all input from personnel is on an entirely voluntary footing. All personal expenses are borne by volunteers.
Donations are appreciated through one off gifts, sponsorship or other fundraising approaches. If you think you can help in any way please contact us.
